We arrived early in the afternoon of June 20. This is a nice resort which is undergoing major renovation. They are building new restrooms and adding 50 amp power to all sites. Comsequently the park is something of a mess, but very good for three free nights for listening to and rejecting their presentation to buy into the resort. We have added three pictures below.
This is a picture of a train engine in the downtown Durango Railway museum. It is a very interesting museum and well worth a visit if in the area.

This is a picture of the Animus River flowing about 40 feet from our RV. ALL of the rivers in Western Colorado are flowing VERY high and fast.
